Are you a member of “koottukad parish”? Then you would be familiar with this name “Little Voice” right? ….This is the official parish bulletin publishing from our “Catechism Department”. The first edition of “Little voice” is published at December 2006. Every month it comes with the news about the parish activities, Social services, family unit news, Sunday class related matters and other useful information. It also consists of a small “Quiz competition” for all the parish people and a POC Bible is its prize.

Santa cruz school is a small Lower Primary school started approx 85 years ago. But still it is an LP school Its under the Koottukad parish management. Arrangements of constructing a new building were started from this December. A committee was formed for this work. Its president is Rev.Fr. Shilju Nedumparambil and secretary is Mr.Paulsy pullayil. All the people from our parish is taking part in this. All of them are giving some donations according to their standard to build this temple of knowledge.

Koottukad is a small village in Ernakulam district of Kerala state, South India. It is about 30 km from Ernakulam town. It has a large expanses of green plain.

The famous church named Little Flower church is situated here. The people in this greenish place are very friendly as the name denotes. A small LP School named Santa cruz Lp school – having 85 years of past memories – is in this place.

The beautiful Cherai beach is only 8 km from this place. The famous place

Chendamanglam – Place of paliath achans – is only 1KM away from Koottukad. The Paliam Palace, residence of the Paliath Achans, hereditary Prime Ministers to the former Maharajas of Kochi, is one of the architectural splendours of Kerala. The Palace is over 450 years old and houses a collection of historic documents and relics.
